I have a very prominent chin, is it possible to correct?

The very prominent chin may occur not only by exaggerated growth, but also by the position ahead of the mandible in relation to the maxilla (upper jaw), in most cases , we need to prepare the teeth with orthodontic braces in order to obtain a perfect fit to the mandible or maxilla in the new position. The same situation occurs with those who have little chin or bent chin.

If I do not extract my impacted wisdom tooth, what can happen?

This may trigger infection, formation of cysts and tumors, resorption of adjacent teeth and pain.

What is impacted wisdom tooth?

Impacted wisdom tooth is the term used to characterize the wisdom teeth that are not completely born due to retention by the bone or adjacent tooth.

How long do I have to stay at rest after extracting an enclosed wisdom tooth?

Exercise should be avoided for 7 days, but activities not affecting significantly the heart rate and blood pressure are allowed as they do not cause problems.

I have 4 enclosed wisdom teeth, can I extract them all in a single session?

Ideally, the removal of two wisdom teeth (upper and lower) on the same side is indicated; however, if in a hurry, there is no technical issue to extract all four in the same session.

Why do I need to extract my wisdom teeth?

The third molars, which are four in number are commonly called "wisdom teeth". There are several indications to remove them, the major ones are to prevent: 1- Infection : In order to erupt, the wisdom tooth promotes micro trauma and facilitates mucosal infection. 2- Crowding of teeth. 3- Resorption of adjacent teeth. 4- Formation of cysts or tumors. 5- Pain.
